A recent study explores the prevalence and geographic distribution of primary biliary cholangitis in the United States. It likely uses new data capture methods to provide updated insights into the disease's prevalence.

The study focuses on real-world data to refine understanding across different regions and healthcare settings, aiming to improve patient care and outcomes. It also examines how healthcare providers influence disease recognition and treatment. This comprehensive analysis enhances our understanding of primary biliary cholangitis, potentially leading to better management strategies (Levy et al., 2025).

It's the fourth and final day of the International PBC Summit 2025 which is dedicated to patient advocacy groups.

This day provides the time and space for reflection, collaboration, and connectivity to agree where the patient advocacy groups can support tangible engagement plans to drive forward the priority areas identified earlier in the Summit.

This year we had more PAGs involved than ever, with a total of 22 different organisations, representing 18 countries, attending this year or supporting our efforts.

The hard work continues as we give everything we have to make the PBC journey easier, smoother and with better results.

The Lion's Den is a day when our sponsors (industry partners) individually present to the assembled patient advocacy groups (pictured) and provides an invaluable opportunity for direct conversation.

The hard work continues as we give everything we have to make the PBC journey easier, smoother and with better results.

Thank you to our sponsors for your willingness to enter the Lion's Den!
